Meet Me

Tracy

Integrative Hypno-Psychotherapist & Founder of Clarendon Counselling

Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to look through my website, I hope it’s giving you a feel for what you can expect.

A little bit about me (the boring but important stuff you might want to know)

Qualifications:

I completed a Psychology degree in 2004 and followed this up with 3.5yrs of counselling training, qualifying and setting up in private practice as a therapist in 2009.

Not content there, I went on to train in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Hypno-Psychotherapy, and Couples Counselling, plus a whole host of additional training including Applied Suicide Intervention and Trauma Informed Therapy to become the integrative therapist you’ll find yourself working with today.

I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Experience:

I have a background in support work, have provided counselling for a range of charities including Homestart UK and Women’s Aid (where I also led the Freedom Programme for survivors of domestic abuse), have provided my experience and knowledge to the NHS as both a counsellor and consultant, and am often asked to support employees by mental health providers.

Over the years I’ve found that I seem to draw clients, both male and female, that are either living in, escaping from, or recovering from abusive relationships, and this has become the area my passion truly lies within, with an emphasis on narcissistic abuse.

A little bit more about me (less boring but no less important):

  1. You’ll often find me on top of a big hill, practising what I preach, taking time for myself, living (and loving) life, being mindful, and pushing myself to do hard things (and enjoying the beautiful views whilst I do it).

  2. I will always do my best for you

I hope to meet you very soon

Take care for now,

Tracy
